Why we exist
They don't. And that insight — when it finally sinks in — is not frightening. It is the most liberating thing you can experience.
The End of Time Corporation was built from that awareness. Not to remind you that you will die — but to help you live as if it matters. Because it does.
Nettgrav — mission
"To always guide you to where the love is."
"The End of Time Corporation was created because death needed a concept and an enterprise that could meet the eternal experience it is for us as people. Furthermore, we could build on the End of Time philosophy — about creating products and services that stand the test of all time."
— Founder, TEOTC
Everything we build must withstand one question: would this matter at the end of life? If yes, it is worth building. If no, it is not — no matter how profitable it might be.
End of Time Consciousness
End of Time Consciousness is not a product. It is a state. The moment you realize that life is finite — and that this insight is not something to fear, but something to live from.
01
You stop postponing
What matters gets done now. The conversation you have been putting off. The letter you never wrote. The spark you never shared. End of Time Consciousness does not give you more time — it gives you clarity about what to spend it on.
02
You stop wasting time
Not because you are hard on yourself — but because you see the difference between what fills and what drains. What keeps you scrolling against your will, versus what actually gives something back.
03
You can truly rest
The good feeling lasts longer when you have the foundation in place. The comfort is real because it is not competing with something more important you should be doing. You have done it. Now you can just be.
04
You see the simple things
A child in your lap in the sun. A song that hits just right. A meal with someone you love. Seen from the end of life, these are not everyday moments — they are the most important ones.
05
You leave something behind
Not because you have to — because you want to. A spark shared while you lived. A letter to those you love. A plan that spares your family pain at the moment they are most vulnerable.
06
You know the universe
You are a unique event in a 13.8 billion year old universe. The spark that is you will never be repeated. That is not a reason for anxiety. It is a reason to live fully.
Mental and emotional health
Research in existential psychology, Terror Management Theory, and palliative care shows that reflection on the meaning of life and mortality can increase the experience of meaning, strengthen relationships, and improve quality of life. End of Time Consciousness is not just philosophy — it is a foundation for mental health.
Loneliness and lack of social connection increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, depression, and premature death — as much as smoking, according to research (Holt-Lunstad, 2015). Many health outcomes are influenced by psychological and social factors such as meaning, support, and belonging. TEOTC is building toward a world where no one dies from not being seen.
Acceptance of mortality — strong research support
In existential psychology and palliative care, the connection is well documented: conscious presence with the finite nature of life can reduce death anxiety and increase quality of life. The Stoics knew it. Heidegger wrote about it. Irvin Yalom built a psychotherapeutic tradition on it. A person who has said what they want to say and planned the farewell as an act of love — lives more lightly.
Well documented in research
Meaning in life → better mental health
Well-documented connection between experience of meaning and lower depression, lower anxiety, and higher life satisfaction.
Social relationships → lower mortality
Strong social connection can reduce mortality risk as much as quitting smoking. (Holt-Lunstad et al., 2015)
Acceptance of mortality → increased quality of life
In existential psychology and palliative care: a conscious relationship with the finite nature of life can reduce anxiety and increase presence.
Loneliness → increased health risk
Social isolation is linked to increased risk of cardiovascular disease, depression, and premature death. One of the greatest public health challenges of our time.
The sources are solid — the effect varies by context and person. The End of Time Center will continue researching these connections in a TEOTC context.
The great ambition
A belief — not a promise
Most people accept death as a fact. We do not entirely — even though we know we do not have the answer yet. The End of Time Center exists because we believe research, awareness, and technology can push the boundary. Perhaps not in our time. But the direction is clear, and we act as if it is true.
This is not a Silicon Valley dream of immortality for the wealthy. It is a commitment that fewer lives should end prematurely — and that those that do end, do so with dignity, meaning, and love around them.
Roadmap
From the grave as a conscious portfolio — to quantum computers researching life itself. Each step builds on the previous one.
Milestone 1
The Grave — Nettgrav.no
Focus: Establish a conscious portfolio for families and friends. Make the grave a living hub for love and memories.
Activities: Build the Nettgrav team, develop features that meet human needs — My Light, Create Spark, Room, End of Time Chat, Digital Legacy, and The Day.
In progressMilestone 2
The End of Time Center
Focus: Establish a physical science center in Norway dedicated to interdisciplinary research on life extension, biohybrid materials, and human mortality.
Activities: Construction or acquisition of the facility, recruitment of leading researchers, and setup of initial research laboratories.
PlannedMilestone 3
The End of Time Computer
Focus: Develop advanced computing facilities capable of running complex simulations and analyses of biological and materials science research.
Activities: Acquire and configure quantum computers, integrate them with digital laboratories, and develop specialized software for research on life itself.
Future visionThe End of Time Computer
Quantum computers and advanced digital laboratories that can simulate biological processes, understand cellular mechanisms behind aging and mortality, and develop new solutions within a framework we call The End of Time Computer. That is the ultimate ambition — and that is where the roadmap points.
Quantum computers integrated with biological research
Simulation of cellular mechanisms behind human aging
Interdisciplinary research on life extension and biohybrid materials
Digital laboratories available to global researchers
Six departments. One philosophy.
All departments under The End of Time umbrella are built from the same awareness. They are not random products — they are answers to questions that End of Time Consciousness raises.
How do you live more consciously? Nettgrav. How do you share your spark? Create Spark and The Day. How do you carry the universe with you? S.O.N.
And The End of Time Center researches the ultimate question — how can we contribute to fewer lives ending prematurely. That is the commitment beneath everything.
The End of Time Care
Nettgrav — love, memories, and relationships that live on
The End of Time Days
The Day — a daily stream of what is worth experiencing
The End of Time Connection
End of Time Chat — encrypted conversations that actually matter
The End of Time Clothing
S.O.N — the universe keeps you warm when you see it
The End of Time Cuisine
The grocery store — send food, because words are not always enough
The End of Time Center
Research where life ends — because a life ended, and that obligates
The ultimate vision
Behind all the products and departments lies an even greater ambition — a future where humanity has overcome most of its own limitations. This is not science fiction. It is the direction we are moving in, step by step.
We are working toward our own irrelevance —
and it is the most meaningful thing we know to do.
